Hi Superb 7, I was blown away by your writing. What fantastic descriptions. I was really able to visualise the scene for every one of your descriptions. I really loved some of the similes you used and the images you created in your mind. I will be sharing some of your writing with my young Year 2 class to inspire their writing! Thanks for sharing. Hi Superb7, Now it's the holidays I've just been catching up on a few things. I wanted to drop back on here and say thank you for sharing your beach descriptions. I used them with my very young Year 2 class to identify similes which they were able to do and thanks to your writing have a much better understanding of compared to if I had just tried to teach them myself.
I also wanted to comment on the following: "Go and ride the horses" from the first of the descriptions above. It was such a powerful and relevant description of the waves that the other day when I was driving along the coast in Riverton it popped into my head and what I was seeing from the waves connected perfectly to this description. Wow! Keep up the great writing.

That's fantastic. We would love to see some of their writing if that is possible.
ReplyDeleteI like the way you got the writing on the blog.
ReplyDeleteAnd I have one question how did you get the writing on.
