Connective Sentences

How good are you at choosing great connective words?

Using wordle to analyse our writing

We have made a list of all the things that we can do on the computer to help our writing.  Using wordle to look at our writing and spot what words we are using is helping us think about what words are appearing in our writing a lot.  This is really helpful.  If we think a bit harder we can work out what words we are not using very much.  We also highlighted the words in our wordle to show adjectives, nouns and verbs.  Cool stuff.

Beach setting writing

We are creating a shared presentation using google docs.  It was cool to see our work coming together as a whole presentation.  Watch this space for the complete document.

We used this today to....

look for interesting words and orientation words to make our setting writing better.
Tomorrow we are going to make our own!

A Wonderful Setting

We closed our eyes, listened carefully and described what we could see, hear, smell, feel etc.  This was our initial lot of words.  Lets check this out compared to our edited version in a few days.
